Hello Kitty Cake: My friend’s daughter wanted a Hello Kitty cake for her birthday. I made a 13x9 layer cake and used my pumpkin-shaped Wilton pan for the top piece of the cake (thought it’d be easier when working on the rounded edges). The picture I had of Hello Kitty had her holding a birthday cake so I thought it’d be cute to have a cake on the cake. Plus, it was the perfect location for the candles. I used black Twizzlers for her whiskers and Dots cut in half for her eyes and nose.
